So many people throw their chances away: they do not take enough care and interview preparation time so that the whole process is enjoyable, stimulating and informative for both parties. This section aims to show you how.

The Effective Learner Course

This section will consider the importance of study skills and how we can identify and enhance our current skill set. Student Reviews for Child Psychology Course

I first linked to the Stonebridge Association of Colleges in 2008 - quite by chance. My first link came through a general website search where my main aim was to find an affordable online study route to enhanced counselling - albeit in a very basic sense.

One click of the mouse and I was enroled on the budget plan that allowed me to study as many courses as possible within a 12-month time limit - this was great, as it allowed me to work at my own pace - and, I am an advocate for allowing 'learners' to work on an individual basis as individual learning plans are something that I have previously worked towards.

I have achieved at varying learning levels and Stonebridge have allowed me to gain access to valuable under-pinning skills in a specialised way at a level that is a very relevant accompliment to my adult teaching qualifications.

In fact: I was so pleased with my results and the wonderful ongoing access to feedback that is included within the course that I have also included the Stonebridge Association of Colleges within my own website link!

I am currently studying the advanced child psychology course and find the course and layout perfect for home studying.  I have a busy lifestyle so have been taking this course for 2 years and there is no pressure to complete it in a certain time which is ideal and it’s also great value for money. Once submitting the assignments tutors are very efficient at marking and coming back to you with comments.

I did a course on 'child psychology'.  I would give it 5/5 because the course material was very informative & the recommended reading really expanded my knowledge. The response to correspondence was rapid & helpful.

The tutor was the best I have ever come across while studying through elearning or even class-room based. The most satisfying course I have done to date & would love to do another course with Stonebridge College.

I work for a maternity studio in Chennai, India. My line of work involves close interactions with parents and parents-to-be. When my supervisor at work suggested that an additional qualification would support my role at the studio, I looked up Stonebridge Associated Colleges online. However, since I live in India, I was a bit sceptical about the course, ease of completion and validity. Nevertheless, I went ahead and signed up for a course in Child Psychology.

With the very first lesson in the course, I knew I had made the right choice. The course was comprehensive, elaborate and clear; yet simple and easy to follow. The tutor's responses were prompt, friendly and appropriate. I completed the course before the stipulated time, and even received my diploma within a few days from the date of completion. I was truly impressed with the smooth, quick and efficient execution of all processes at Stonebridge, and even recommended it to a few of my friends.

Doing this course not only helped my career a great deal, but also gave me insights into my own child's psyche, and today I am a much better parent, too. What's more, this year I am back at Stonebridge to do a couple more courses online (child counselling and psychotherapy) to further improve my career prospects.

This is the second home based course I have done. Stonebridge College blew the other company out of the water. Any questions that I had, they replied normally within a couple of hours. The marking was fantastic, I am sure that we all get a little nervous after submitting our work, while we wait for the verdict. Well the wait was normally only one day.

Would I recommend them? YES.

Would I do another course through them? Already have the next to start.
