Body Piercing - Professional (excl. kit) Course

On average it takes approximately 2-4 weeks to train by yourself, following our detailed instructions.  However, candidates have up to 1 year to complete this Course. This unique Course contains a detailed Training Manual that has Step-by-Step Instructions and Photographs, together with Video Demonstrations which enables candidates to view the professional techniques used and so learn and master the art of Body Piercing. 

The Professional Body Piercing Home Study Training Course teaches the candidate how to carry out various Body Piercings safely and correctly.  The Course covers Navel, Skin Surface, Nipple, various types of Lip & Ear, Tongue, Eyebrow, Septum and Nostril Piercings.  N.B. Genital Piercings are NOT covered on this Course.

Candidates are required to read the Training Manual and watch the Video demonstrations. There is a short examination to complete which candidates must return to the College for marking. Depending on the grade achieved, a Certificate will be issued to the candidate (either PASS, CREDIT OR DISTINCTION) once the examination has been marked. 

Business Start-Up Information will be given on Jewellery, Equipment & Materials to buy, and a list of Body Piercing Trade Suppliers & Insurance Companies.  A PROFESSIONAL STARTER KIT that contains everything you need to start Body Piercing is also available to purchase, once the Home Study Course has been ordered.

Qualification 1: Body Piercing - Professional (excl. kit) Diploma

Body Piercing - Professional (excl. kit) Diploma issued by Stonebridge Associated Colleges, entitling you to use the letters SAC Dip after your name.

This course is currently only available to be studied via the traditional paper-based method.

With this course you will have unlimited access to your own personal tutor who specialises in their field of study. It is your personal tutor's role to ensure that you receive constructive feedback and to deal with any queries you may have. You are more than welcome to telephone, fax or email your personal tutor.

You will also have access to a dedicated and friendly team of administrators and course advisors who offer sound and professional guidance and advice when you need it. This ensures that you will never feel neglected and that you will always succeed!

There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds.

This is only an approximate figure and is dependant upon how much time you can dedicate to your studies and how well you grasp the learning concepts in the course material. Furthermore, at the end of each lesson there is a question paper that needs to be completed and returned to your tutor. You should allow at least 1 - 2 hours of study to complete each question paper.

The approximate amount of time required to complete the course is: 126 hrs.
