Newly qualified social workers and counsellors can expect to start out on around \u00a322k per annum. Going up to 40k with experience. Most entry-level social care roles prefer applicants with at least a Level 3 diploma-level qualification in social care. In this instance, a Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care (RQF) Level 3<\/strong><\/a> would be enough to qualify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But for professional roles in social work or occupational therapy, you\u2019d need to be educated to undergraduate or postgraduate level. And be a member of specific professional bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
