Choosing what you will do for the rest of your life when you finish your A Levels is a big decision to make. Many people head straight into university. Sometimes this is because they have their heart set on it, other times it\u2019s just because they weren\u2019t sure what else to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being self-employed typically brings with it a lot of freedom in how you work. As your own boss, you\u2019re generally able to organise your work around your schedule. Which is great if you\u2019re juggling kids with your career, or if you can only work at certain times of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s more, advances in technology have given rise to new ways of working. Which can be even more convenient for you if your business is based online and avoids the need for expensive premises and travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take a Gap Year<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes, you\u2019re just not sure what you want and need to take a step away from the situation to gain perspective. A gap year is a great way to do this as you can travel, work, volunteer or do anything that provides you with new experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doing something new and challenging or simply taking the time to think can help you figure out what you want from life. As well as give you valuable life experience that is insightful in itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
