Using wild flowers for bouquets is becoming increasingly popular for summer weddings. Arrangements of wild flowers can also be a stylish addition to your house. There’s plenty of inspiration out there<\/a>, but it’s easy to get things wrong, or put together flowers and colour schemes that don’t work in harmony. It’s important to create the right balance between messy and too precise. An effortless and natural wild flower bouquet is the goal.<\/p>\n

We’ve come up with 5 tips to help you create beautiful wild flower floristry<\/h2>\n

  1. Be careful where and how you pick wild flowers. Don’t pick flowers on private land and be careful not to disturb wildlife.<\/li>\n
  2. Know your poisonous plants. Some plants are best avoided <\/a>and you should also wear gloves to avoid scratches and skin irritation as you pick your flowers.<\/li>\n
  3. Collect more than just flowers. Don’t forget that the best flower arrangements have some foliage too. You could include different types of grass, herbs, pine cones and berries.<\/li>\n
  4. Pin a ribbon tightly around your bouquet, to cover any floral tape you have used.<\/li>\n
  5. Arrange your flowers in a glass bottle, or jar<\/a>, to complete the natural look.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
