Studying your A Level

A Level Psychology is the study of the human mind, our emotions and our behaviours. It is an opportunity to explore the different facets of the psyche and understand why we do what we do.

With so much emphasis now placed on mental health, Psychology is one of the most prominent fields in the world. It has never been a more interesting time to learn how the human mind works.

During your A Level Psychology you will study key psychological theories and the underlying principles. You will examine ethical issues, analyse and interpret psychological concepts and evaluate treatments.

As part of your A Level you will also study biopsychology, psychopathology, social influence and more.

This course perfectly prepares you for studying psychology at university or studying a related social science such as Sociology.

Designed in line with AQA syllabus, this recognised qualification will help you work towards your academic and professional goals. The only specific deadline to work towards is your exam – exam sittings are held once per year in May or June.
