Animal Care Course

Our Animal Care Course is designed to assist the student in understanding the basic needs of animals; from the information provided, to obtain a better understanding of animal profile and then be able to identify their needs.

Students will then be able to comfortably understand animal breeds and at an early stage pass on any problems or information to vets or owners to provide a greater deal of care.

About Animal Care

The Animal Care Course is not designed as a veterinary assistants course, but rather as a possible introduction to the field of animal care and hopefully in the future encourage you to consider a career in animal management.

I have just completed the Animal care diploma and found it very informative. The course was not complicated at all and even for a novice like me, I found it utterly compelling. So much so, that I then booked onto a Food and Beverage Management Course which I still doing and find totally fascinating and I also completed my Health and Safety at Work certificate last week which will stand me in good stead in my new job. I can't wait to finish the course I am doing now so I can enrol on another one. I am totally hooked on Stonebridge and have persuaded my husband to do a Landscaping course with them. I've explained the tutors are more than happy to help on every query, even ones you might think are silly and the course itself is self explanatory and really enjoyable. This is a great in depth course and it feeds straight into the animal health course. after completeing both of these courses i was able to take up on the job training at a local veterinary practice.
