Did you make the most of your time at School?
When asked if they made the most of their time in school/higher education, only 35% said it met their needs.
Got help choosing the right subjects for you?
When asked whether they felt they had received enough advice/support when choosing subjects that would influence their career path, 4 in 10 respondents stated that there was no advice on hand/available.
Any idea of what you wanted to do?
53% of the Brits surveyed said they did not have an idea of the career they wanted by the time they had reached higher education.
How ‘Academic’ were you at school?
20% of the respondents said they didn’t enjoy school because they were not academic.
Get any practical experience?
More than 1/4 of the people surveyed said practical subjects prepared them for their working life.
