Our Fast Track Foot Health Practitioner course allows you to become fully qualified in the fastest possible time. When you enrol you are given access to the theory lessons. After each lesson you complete a multiple choice question paper on the lesson. At the end of the course there is a final piece of course work which you complete while you are studying your practical with us. You pick the practical date you want to attend when you register and once you have completed your practical you will be fully qualified to begin your career as a Foot Health Practitioner. Typically students complete their course in under a month under the fast track route. Due to the “fast track” nature of this version of the course we are also able to offer it to learners at a significantly reduced cost to the ordinary version of this course.

We also allow students to study for this version of the course full time, part time, or we also offer evening classes. If you would like more information on the Study Options available, please click on the “Study Options” tab below.

There is no greater satisfaction than to care for others, and our Foot Health Practitioner course gives you the opportunity to accomplish this in your own practice. The human foot is one of the most complex and neglected of body parts. Every step we take places 2.5 times our body weight on the 26 bones that make up each foot, and it has been estimated that we walk 3 times around the planet in a lifetime. The foot is highly sensitive, and like any machine part, suffers wear or damage when injured or stressed beyond its capability.

About the Foot Health Practitioner Profession

Here's where you come in. Though there may be little wrong with their feet, circumstances may prevent people looking after them. Arthritis, painful hip joints or stiff knees may put their feet out of reach or prevent use of scissors or nippers. However, others do have problems with their feet, from corns, calluses, verrucae, flat-foot and bunions, to nail conditions and structural defects, many of which can be treated without surgery or medical intervention. Some people just enjoy being pampered or are concerned with maintaining their bodies in optimum condition. All of these people need the help of a Foot Health Practitioner: a professional trained to deliver care and advice either in a private surgery or in the home.

About our Foot Health Course

This course is made up of twelve lessons of theory training, which you complete from the comfort of your own home (this usually takes about 1 week to complete), and one week’s practical training, which is completed at one of our state-of-the-art Foot Health Training Centres. For more information on the practical training, please visit our dedicated Foot Health website at www.foothealthschool.com.
