Uni Assist

Stonebridge Colleges Uni Assist team is learner centric and here to help you achieve your ambition of going to university. We provide Information, advice and guidance at the beginning of your course to ensure that you are enrolled on an appropriate Access HE Diploma that will meet the entry requirements for your preferred degree/university.

Uni Assist guidance includes:

• Confirmation that your Access to HE Diploma provides you with the right combination of subjects and units to meet university entry requirements.
• A dedicated team of tutors and assessors then support and guide you through your units of study.
• Learning on Pearl – a cutting edge virtual learning environment, where you can access your course 24/7 online
• Student Support Officers monitor your progress and keep you on track throughout your studies. They can also help with queries relating to technical issues and student finance.
• The courses are structured in a way to enable you to develop your skills and academic writing abilities prior to completing subject specific units. These skills will also be invaluable for your university studies.
• Guidance is provided to support you with the completion of university applications via UCAS. This includes checking that your application form has been completed correctly and an academic reference is given, where required.
• Providing universities with academic references and predicted grades upon request.
• Liaison with university admissions offices in relation to applications where required.

Ongoing support

Further support is also available from the Access to HE Manager in case of queries, concerns or complaints.

Should you no longer have your certificates for Maths and English qualifications, we can provide you with information to enable to you acquire these.

Upon completion of your course, we will ensure that your final grades are provided to UCAS. If necessary, these can also be provided to individual universities to avoid any delays with starting your degree.
