By conducting gait analysis, identifying abnormal postures and understanding what actions to take can prove extremely beneficial to the welfare and quality of life of the animals you treat.

The course also covers how to properly perform patient reviews to effectively monitor their progress during treatment. As well as how to use advanced aquatic treadmill techniques during therapy.

This course includes a practical day within our busy rehabilitation centres alongside our experienced qualified hydrotherapists and physiotherapists. This will give you the opportunity to use aquatic treadmill equipment on a variety of patients.

The centres offer state of the art equipment including gait analysis and underwater treadmills and hydrotherapy pools.

You will be required to get in and out of the aquatic treadmill some techniques require you to be knelt and sat in the water with the dog. Therefore, should you require any support in doing so, ensure this is in place and the centre is aware.
