Happy New Year Stonebridge readers! I do hope each and every one of you had a wonderful holiday wherever you are in the world.
Did you make any New Year’s resolutions? Perhaps a renewed commitment to complete your course or to begin a new one? How are your resolutions coming along?
Yesterday may have been Blue Monday, but it’s over and we can’t use it as an excuse anymore. If you’ve let your resolve diminish over the month, now’s the time to take a breath, remind yourself of your goal and why you’ve made it, and hit the ground running.
One of my New Year’s resolutions is to blog more often … Ahem. Well, clearly I’ve got off to a bad start. However, that doesn’t mean I’m going to throw away the goal. It just means I need to step back, examine and probably revise my expectations and plan of attack, and give it another go.
Another goal I’ve made is to involve you a bit more in our blog. Stay tuned over the coming months for announcements about possible opportunities.
Whatever your resolution or goal may be, don’t worry if you’ve been a bit slack. It’s only natural. Rather than give yourself grief, spend your energy on revitalising your efforts to achieve what you’ve set out to do. It may help to develop a S.M.A.R.T. goal – Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Timely.
Comment here on what your goal is and how you’re going to reach it. Writing it down for others to see helps to keep you accountable.
