About the Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology Certificate
The human body works in fascinating ways. With over 200 bones, 600 muscles, and numerous co-dependent systems, there is so much to be learnt. However, even a basic understanding of our bodies can help us to comprehend how they function. This Level 3 distance learning course aims to provide Stonebridge students with a grounding in anatomy and physiology which can work to aid their professional development.
This home learning course is spread out over 14 engaging online modules. Each unit focuses on a specific factor relating to anatomy and physiology. The material covers everything from the skin and the skeletal system to the reproductive system and our individual senses. The online course will take approximately 168 hours to complete, but at Stonebridge College we recommend you move at your own pace.
Who should study this course?
This home study course has been designed for anyone with an interest in how the body works. It is particularly useful for those who work in complementary therapies such as yoga or reflexology, and require a fundamental understanding of anatomy.
As with all of our home study courses here at Stonebridge College, you do not need any prior qualifications in order to enrol. All we ask is that you are able to access our online portal; that you are able to motivate yourself and that you have an interest in human anatomy.
