Minimum age restriction

You must be aged 16 or above to enrol on this course.

Average completion timeframe

The average time it takes to complete this course is 12 months.

Assessement requirements

Your assessments will consist of: Q&A, Essay, Case Studies, Projects, Observation, Witness Statement

Placement or Practical required

Learners will need to be working in a supervisory administrative role, supervising a team, giving performance reviews. Learners need to be doing personal and professional development (e.g development plans in place and time scales for the future, tracking their progress). You will also need to be supporting administrative meetings and communicating in a business environment, as well as developing and delivering presentations, implementing change and participating in projects. The learner must have a supervisor or manager who can verify work when necessary, as per the criteria. Please note that the term 'verify' does not mean the same as 'signing work off' - it is someone who can confirm that the learner did what they are saying they did. Our assessor will make the judgement as to whether the work submitted meets the criteria.

If placement or practical required, when?

Learners need to be in a suitable work environment in order to apply the principles of Business Adminstration and demonstrate competencies. The work environment can include temporary work placements, voluntary positions etc. Whilst passed experiene will /can be used within the evidence, it must be recent work and cannot be relied upon as the sole source of evidence, therefore a placement/environment is required.

Observation by us required

Learners will be observed by a work-based mentor during the course.

Additional requirements

Although some units can be achieved from a theoretical perspective, there are some units that include 'work based' tasks. For example, in unit 5 the learner is required to produce a personal development plan that is counter-signed by a line manager. In unit 7, the learner is asked to identify a meeting that is taking place and to provide a detailed descrption of why it is taking place. In unit 9, the learner has to develop a presentation, and in unit 10 they are required to deliver it. Unit 11 is about negotiating in a business environment.

Certification Timeframe

You should receive your certificate in 12 weeks, but that can be extended if an EQA sample is required.

All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans including our Premium Credit Limited option, must be settled before certification can be ordered.

*You will have access to the course for 24 months.
