About your Diploma

The Level 3 Diploma in Canine Massage is the ideal qualification choice if you’re interested in providing therapeutic massage to dogs. The qualification will suit those who are planning to work within the sector and for those planning to set up their own canine massage business.  You will also gain 11 days of practical hands-on training where you will be able to practise assessments and perform massage techniques. Practical placements are available in the Isle of Wight or Warwickshire.
 
Over 13 units you will learn a range of massage techniques, including aquatic massage and advanced techniques used to assist canine athletes.  You will also gain 11 days of practical hands-on training where you will be able to practise assessments and perform massage techniques. Practical placements are available in the Isle of Wight or Warwickshire.

Requirements for Entry

Learners should be aged 16 or above and hold qualifications in maths and English at Level 2.

To gain the Level 3 Diploma in Canine Massage you must achieve 84 credits.

A practical skills demonstration is required and each unit will be assessed by a range of in-depth theory assessments. Students will need to show sufficient evidence that they have the required knowledge, skills and understanding of the assessment criteria. 

When are you assessed?
Once you have successfully completed the practical skills demonstration and each unit assessment you will receive your certificate of completion alongside your qualification.
