About your Course

Ecology allows you to study organisms and the relationship they have with their environment. Including migratory patterns and disruptions to the status quo such as the introduction of a predator or habitat encroachment by humans.

The Ecology Diploma is a CPD course that introduces you to the key principles of ecology and conservation. You will study individual organisms all the way up to entire ecosystems and biomes.

You will learn about populations and the concept of communities, understand the definition of habitats and the difference between terrestrial and aquatic environments.

As you develop your knowledge, you’ll cover the more complex elements of ecology, including the importance of biodiversity and the impact of climate change.

In addition to this, you’ll also discover what we as individuals can do to support conservation efforts ranging from personal action to lower our carbon footprint to helping to remove invasive species.

Upon completion of this course, you’ll have gained a solid grasp of ecology and conservation to build on through further study.
