About your Diploma

Biology is one of the most fascinating and rapidly developing fields to study. For all we know about the human body and the natural world, we’ve barely scratched the surface.

Scientific understanding of our existence is vital for humanity to exist and thrive for years to come. By studying GCSE Biology – on its own or with other core science subjects – you will begin to build your understanding of the world around you.

This GCSE Biology course covers everything from cell biology, infection and response, to ecology. You will also discover how these topics are all connected. All of this knowledge and more will give you a firm grasp of this branch of science and help you piece together the puzzle that is the material world.

Upon completion of this course, you will understand key theories and principles that relate to Biology, which will enable you to progress to further studies, such as A Level or an Access to Higher Education Diploma.

Getting Started

Stonebridge Associated Colleges is one of the UK’s leading distance learning providers, with a host of online alternatives to traditional school or college-based qualifications. By studying online, you will benefit from a completely flexible approach to learning.
