In this GCSE course you will learn all about Science, covering the basics of Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Science is "alive" - it will never be finished. Science is a global venture, every day all over the world, scientists are making new discoveries and challenging what we already know.
Science is such a broad subject, and it requires skills outside of "pure" science. In this course you will learn not only the scientific skills you need, you'll also develop important and valuable transferable skills in areas such as:
- Scientific thinking
- Experiments
- Analysis and evaluation
- Scientific vocabulary, quantities, units and symbols
This GCSE Combined Science Triple award is a great starting point for every career in science-related fields.
Further study after GCSE is A Level, degree level and beyond. Qualifications in science can lead to hundreds of different exciting and rewarding careers.
There are no entry requirements for this course. All you need is an internet connection and a laptop or computer, and you're ready to learn!
Your course starts with two short units that cover everything you need to know about GCSE Combined Science: Trilogy, all about the exams, the practical activities and includes some great advice on how to successfully study online.
You will then cover the fundamentals of Biology, Chemistry and Physics in turn, submitting assignments regularly. Your assignments will be marked by your tutor, who will provide developmental feedback on your progress.
At the end of your course is a full set of mock exams.
You will be assessed regularly through assignments marked by your tutor and at the end with the mock exams.
Please note that the exams are not included in this course.
If you want to add the exams later, you can!
Should you go on to take the exams, you will achieve the AQA GCSE Combined Science: Trilogy which is worth two GCSEs.
