The Lifetime Awarding Level 3 Certificate in Diet and Nutrition (RQF) is designed to equip learners with an understanding of the //principles of nutrition and how to create dietary plans for individuals with different needs. This qualification focuses on dietary planning for a wide range //of individuals and groups including; children and young people, older adults, individuals engaged in sports and exercise and individuals with restricted diets. //This qualification covers a wide range of nutritional issues including; food additives and labelling, healthy eating, weight management and roles and //responsibilities within the field.

Innovate Awarding is an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation with an innovative and dynamic approach. They develop off-the-shelf, customised and fully bespoke qualifications across a growing number of sectors all on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). 

Learners will need to be in a role where they are working with clients and providing advice and guidance (this can be in a range of different settings but they must be able to demonstrate their work). Learners will be required to provide video evidence of their progress and work, so access to a gym or appropriate home equipment is needed. Settings and locations with restrictions that may not permit this are not appropriate. This is a level 3 qualification which will require learners to have an excellent standard of written English. Learners will be expected to use an appropriate referencing system and support their own studies by conducting independent research. No prior qualifications or nutritional knowledge is needed as all training is provided.
