Your exams will be at an exam centre near to you. We will aim to find you a place within 50 miles of your postcode, subject to centre capacity and exam availability.
The exams are designed to put your knowledge to the test. You’ll need to demonstrate a solid understanding of scientific ideas, process, techniques and procedures. As well as analyse and evaluate scientific theory and data.
Online learning allows you to study without having to rearrange your whole schedule. You’re able to learn whenever suits you best at whatever pace works for you.

The course material is accessed via an online portal and the practical lessons will be held in a classroom setting. These will need to be booked in advance. The only specific deadline to work towards is your exam – exam sittings are held once per year in May or June.
