Studying Your A Level

A Level Psychology allows you to explore the complexities of the human mind, emotions and behaviours.

Through your learning, you’ll develop an understanding of the many variables that influence the human psyche.

As part of your A Levels, you’ll study biopsychology, psychopathology and social influence. Each fascinating topic you cover will have you examining ethical issues, analysing and interpreting psychological concepts and evaluating treatments.

This course will give you a solid foundation to prepare for university-level study in psychology or related subjects.

The course is designed in line with AQA syllabus to prepare you for your exam.

You will have 3 exams to complete to receive your qualification. The exams contain multiple-choice, short answers and extended writing.

Throughout your exam, you’ll be expected to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of psychological concepts, theories and research methods.
