Studying your GCSE
GCSE Business Studies encompasses various elements of modern business. You’ll learn about marketing, human resources and even setting up your own organisation.
You’ll learn to make informed, well-reasoned decisions about various aspects of business. You’ll be challenged to think about how and why people found businesses and why they succeed or fail.
This GCSE course provides you with a foundation of knowledge upon which you can build through further study. You’ll be introduced to essential components that make businesses operate effectively.
This course bundle includes the two AQA exams needed to gain your GCSE Business Studies qualification. The exams will consist of multiple-choice, short answer questions and case study and data stimuli response questions.
Through the course, you’ll gain an understanding of business concepts, ideas, terminology and strategies. You will then have to apply your knowledge to various contexts throughout the exam.
GCSE Business Studies will also provide you with the opportunity to explore the practical application of specific business concepts in real-world contexts. This will help you to see how what you’ve learned works in practice rather than just theory.
You will able to take these skills forward and implement them with ease throughout your future business career or more advanced study.
Getting Started
This course will help to prepare you for the AQA GCSE Business Studies exam and gain a recognised qualification.
From there you can look forward to a successful future as a business professional. What’s more, you can study your GCSE Business Studies course completely online.
This means that there’s no need to go back to school to study. You can work at your own pace, from the comfort of your own home, whenever suits you best.
Because all of our courses are online you can start your studies the moment you enrol with us. Simply log into the student portal and all of your GCSE course materials will be waiting there for you. The only specific deadline to work towards is your exam – exam sittings are held once per year in May or June.
Pursuing your career
A GCSE in Business Studies allows you to go on to study either at A Level or complete RQF or an Access to HE Diploma. All of which can allow you to go on to study business at degree level.
You must complete at least 50% of the course and pass the associated assignments before you are eligible to be entered for the exams.
Average completion timeframe
The average time it takes to complete the course is 18 months.

Certification Timeframe
You can expect to receive your certificate 3 months after receiving the result.
Extension Rules
£40 for six months, maximum of twice. If expired more than six months ago, or have already had two extensions, then they need to restart the course and pay again.
All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans including our Premium Credit Limited option, must be settled before certification can be ordered.
*You will have access to the course for 24 months.
As you progress through your course, you will study the following modules:

At the end of each unit there is an assignment to complete. Once this has been completed and submitted to your tutor he or she will respond with your grade as well as detailed feedback. Following successful completion of each unit you’ll be exam ready!
All instalment plans must be paid and up to date before an exam can be booked. In addition, exams cannot be booked for dates before the final payment is successfully made. For example, if two monthly payments are due in the future, an exam can be booked, but the exam date will be after the final payment is received.
